Re: MFRP signs stolen

I just didn't want to hear you bitch about hauling concrete again...... but yeah you're right we should've concreted them and I'm still not sure if it would've made any difference though. Hindsight is a bitch.

I think 4 so far. Kinda lame and I'm sure I'm pissing in the wind here but if anyone knows anything please let me know. Also keep your eyes out for em laying in a ditch please. Several good folks put lots of time into those. Won't be installing new signs any time soon anywhere near the roads. Sorry ...

Re: Johnny & Alex Trail Day - July 19 - We need HELP!

Sorry you don't agree. The vast majority of people I spoke to said it was a good idea and went smoothly. It's too bad you couldn't give me your input any sooner. It might have been helpful. Id be happy to discuss our tactics for next year just as long as you don't contact me a week before the trail ...

Re: Johnny & Alex Trail Day - July 19 - We need HELP!

Naaa, too expensive dude. We use a nail gun..... Much cheaper. It sucks I know but I've done it both ways personally. It's cheaper, easier and faster to preassemble. There's only one this year........

Re: Land Off Bald Rock Fork

From what I've been told Gary king bought it and plans to run cattle on it. He is a friend of the community and has been helping facilitate repairs/upgrades to mfrp. Good neighbor to have!

Re: Roadside open?

Clif I agree with ya. However the way they closed it was kinda lame. But they were justified in doing so given the abuse the land endured. Glad to see some movement. Anyone that opens private land to climbing is good in my book. (Whatever that's worth) Five finger and roadside attraction are calling...

I might also add I don't think there was any malice intended by the climbers. More than likely just a misunderstanding. chuff on

4 wheelers on MFRP

Before I get into this let me first say this story second hand Information so please take it for what it is. I was informed by some of my local sources that a group of "climbers" tried to run off a rather large group of 4 wheelers from the MFRP sometime in the last few weeks. The "climbers" told the...
