VE in Warrenville Illinois would be a great example. Huge gym, great route setters, a seperate area for gumbys, a slack line, a bouldering cave. It's a popular place so you can always get a belay. A nice mix of natural rock and flat board. Let's the climbers pull the top ropes, so you can lead the r...

I'd beleive it. I had 6 Advil in 4 hours the other day without eating, and the next day it felt like I had 6 holes in my stomach! I guess that's why it says "take with food", on the label.

Yep. You can walk a 100 yards in any direction and find something to Trad climb. Since I'm from the flat lands of Chicago, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Sylvan Lake has an area called Middle Earth that has some really nice Trad climbing. There is some sport there too, but not a lot. Most of th...

Shoulder pain is really tricky. You have to figure out what kind of pain it is. Some things can be fixed with rest, some with proper exercises, and some only with surgery. A doctor is really the best person to ask. Check out http://www.climbinginjuries.com/ It gave me good advice on my shoulder inju...

That's my plan. Or at least it is this time. My friends all bailed because of the weather. Wimps! Not going to spoil my good time though. :)

Thanks everyone!

Personally, my favorite is chicken, garlic, black bean, feta, broccoli, bacon, pepperoni, and cheese. Eat with both hands as tipping the pizza can be messy!

Does Miguel's serve food on Thanksgiving?

Does Miguel's serve food on Thanksgiving or do we have to fend for ourselves? Someone told me he had turkey meat as a pizza topping last year, so I'm assuming he'll be open.

Thanks,

I could see Rest Assured seeming even harder than a 10d. The middle section has chalk everywhere, and it hides the 3 crimpy side pulls you have to use. If you don't find them the route will feel like a 5.11, but once you find them the route feels like a 5.10 again. :D

I find that people who recently witness climbing incidents, make for very attentive belayers. It kind of makes you wonder if all of the really good belayers have a story about why they take it so seriously.
