Thanks Artsay for the quick donation set up here on site. Keep us informed to the status, such as if this fund can become some kind of a memorial fund later if needed.

Several people have asked for a mailing address to send a check to. I am taking responsibility for the funeral fund and will get the money into the appropriate hands. You may send checks to me, please state "Ben and Laura Fund" in the comment line.

Thanks, Angel.
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Was just going to ask how much we've collected so far. Great to see a good amount coming in from our traditionally poor and unemployed climbing community. Hope we continue to do so at the 'fest next week at Miguels.

If you were planning on donating and haven't yet, I'm going to close this account on Wednesday the 19th. The current total is $1837.78 and will be sent to both families next week. Thanks to everyone for your generosity.

2008? Yikes. Strange that was the amount it came out to. I agree that a thank you goes out to all those who donated and kept these 2 in their hearts during this last month. Hopefully we never have to consider this again in our futures at the Red.
