Theft of route hardware at Muir
If anyone has any information as to who is stealing bolted hardware, including ring anchors, off walls in Muir Valley, please contact us.
Please be careful and check for missing hardware before climbing.

Ill donate 100 bucks to FOMV if anyone can provide proof of who is doing it.
Ill donate 200 bucks if you just make them silently disappear.
Can't we all just get along?

Re: Theft of route hardware at Muir
Can you mention specific routes/areas in which this has happened? They're prying out hangers though? Jeez...

Jesus H. Christ... I suggest we use water boarding when they're caught. It's legal now...
Stainless steel glue-ins with internal compartments of poison gas so if they're cut off, the perpetrator is quickly and mercifully killed. That's the future of bolting.

That is fucked! I hope you find them. I don't understand why someone one would do that.

I thought climbing is supposed to be fun!
Set up your game cameras and see who it is. It may not be 100%, but you might get lucky.

Re: Theft of route hardware at Muir
your reply to the stolen gear shit in Muir saying "das krue" basically accuses me of stealing. that ridiculous little moniker is associated in everyone's mind with actual people. Myself (Zac Sands) included. This little comment will snowball as all trivial things do on this website, facilitated by those of you who frequent it's forums. Im sure it will develop into rumors, pages of internet whining and big talk, no action, no direct confrontation... well, you know how it goes here. I dont know who you are, and don't really care to be honest. I do however assume you are an adult. So dont passive aggressively call me, or ANYONE i know a thief. If anyone wants to accuse me of something, do it to my face. Or, if you some of you must hide on the internet.. at least say it outright and directly and please identify who you are. It's hilarious that i havent been on this site in many months, but the first thing i read when i come here is this shit.
I say things once. I take the time to do so in a coherent and well thought response.
So here is the main point.
I DIDN'T FUCKING STEAL ANYTHING.
If you think i did, want to imply i did, or accuse me of it. Do so to my face.

You know how immature these climbers can be, Zac. I wouldn't worry too much about them. They're all big and bad hiding behind some made up name on a "website"???Sandman wrote:your reply to the stolen gear shit in Muir saying "das krue" basically accuses me of stealing. that ridiculous little moniker is associated in everyone's mind with actual people. Who the fuck is climb2core anyway? Is that the best name you could come up with? Why not use your real name?? Why do you find it necessary to hide behind some fake name??
Yes, Eric Cox is asking you a question! You know me?? I live at Red River Outdoors and drive the green Ford van. Stop by some time and share your overwhelming knowledge with me, Mr. C2C!
I'm sure you can rock climb much better than I can, so THAT makes you SO much more important and witty! I'm SURE you have something to share with me that I just can't live without. Grow the fuck up dude!
This thread and the other thread about "Asshole of the Month" are showing me where rock climbing is heading in the Red. It's a sad, sad day when drama takes the place of fun. But there are those who only live for drama. Those who must feel important by bashing others while they hide behind some stupid name!
I wonder if the mountain bikers are such drama babies? I doubt it.
I know those that ride motorcycles sure as hell are not. Fuck with a biker and you might get something sharp stuck in your throat!
Stealing is wrong.
I've known you for as long as I've been coming down here. Shit Zac, you and I have done more work on the businesses down here that the rest of these cry babies combined. I'll say it right here and now, that I trust you 100%. You've had more than enough opportunity to steal from me and haven't. I would give you a key to my tool room if you needed in it and not worry.
Let the Mother Fuckers Talk!

This shit is too funny. Get over yourself man... You are not that important. Word of advice for you, probably better off staying away from the boards if you take everything so personally. It is a fucking joke. If you havent noticed, you and your Krue are the butt of countless jokes that happen every day at crags around the Red. Don't believe me? Go start up a conversation about your antics last year in anonymity. Now, on a less comical level... I actually agree with some of what you did last year. Just don't get your panties in a bunch. But just to make sure, let me state... I do not think Zac Sands or any member of the infamous crew actually removed fixed gear with the intent of stealing it.
Glad to hear you are back. Things have been quiet while you were gone. And I am not hiding... Never have. My name is Ian. Eric, pretty sure we have met... You showed us the deer at LOA when I came with Joe L and my boys. I appreciate you stepping up to defend Zac, but you got me dead to wrong.
