Feels a little bit chilly out there today, but there are several people out climbing, so conditions must not be too bad. All back in the day when I used to climb, I remember going out in the most miserable of conditions. Like, 30 degree, overcast, windy, and sleeting. That was dumb.

It's very simple: Global warming. All the carbon dioxide we're producing is to blame. If we just pay a tax on every molecule of CO2 we emit, then the world will stop heating...I mean cooling...I mean, you know, irreversible climate change or whatever the popular fallacy is at the moment.

I think someone needs to make a heated chalk bag. I get the hot packs but I think a heated chalk bag would be a big seller.

the best thing ever is to get the toe warmers - the kind with the sticky backing on them. open them up and stick them to your shirt. warms up your tummy pronto and then your body thinks it's warm and doesn't pull all the blood from your fingers and toes. although i think october is WAY too early to have to start using that trick.

Maybe if this trend continues I'll be able to climb some ice in the red? But Al Gore told us the earth was warming, I am so confused...
I've been a gumby longer than you've been climbing.
