Because it is more awesome than Van Halen's tour bus blasting Mötley Crüe while driving off the top of the Madness Cave. With strobe lights.

Click on the song "Climb On."

Haha. I'm glad he's gonna carry the torch. I'm retired from climbing songs to focus on other music. That silly shit did its job and has paid for bunches of climbing trips (and will continue to do so)...

Whak? I'm so sad! That's the only rap I ever loved. Besides, you've not written my pot smokin' song!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

That is my friend Spyder. His home crag is the New. The song has been out for a few years. Cool one, eh?

Yeah, rappin' is silly. I much prefer lowering to rapping.

I was actually talking to a friend last night who knows the musician, Spyder. As mentioned above, I guess he climbs at the NRG quite a bit, and is a totally nice guy.

And as cheesy as the song is, as a musician I have to appreciate his chops, the guy's a fast muthuhfuckin' guitarist. Anyone who can maintain that dexterity while climbing (I lost a lot of speed and sensitivity when I started jamming my fingers into overhung cracks) is doing pretty well.

Thats because crack climbing is even more silly than rapping...

Yes, excellent guitarist, a great friend and a really good climber too. I wonder how his name was changed to SCIN repellent though. Strange, very strange....

I don't get what the big deal is. He's 20 feet above his last pro, but 100 feet above his belayer...sounds like a clean fall.
