Other than the really hard part the rest is merely formidable.

Yesterday from the Gold Coast parking lot... "do you know how to get to the Sore Heel Parking lot?" and "can we walk there from here?"

Whoopsy navigator!

Tying my knot and racking up at the base of both a sport line and a trad line, a couple walks by and asks, "Are you bolting or belaying?"
No chalkbag since 1995.

And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.

"Oh yeah it was so awesome! It was all nuts in the face the whole way. Just nut in the face after nut in the face."
Myself shamelessly spraying about Central Scrutinizer to a fellow climber... with non-climbers well within earshot... they also made it clear that they over heard it and were displeased.

"Maybe it is easier now" Someone drawing the wrong conclusion about Golden Boy after watching a video of Lynn Hill onsighting it. That someone was me. I went and checked. Still nearly impossible for me. Duh!

You are so right Pigsteak! Clearly a violation. Do the math. Including an 8a, Lynn Hill and yourself in the same post. I should know better. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

A guy top-roping a 7 at Pistol Ridge yells down in his most pissed off voice "f#&king pay attention, I fell like two feet".
"It is difficult to estimate the potential damage of solvents; therefore the middle of the rope should never be marked with a felt-tip pen or similar. Although a danger might be improbable, it should never be ignored." Mammut
