Climbing photo thread, volume 1

Post by Wes » Thu Apr 14, 2005 10:20 pm

Post up! But, please don't use img tags with photos from the gallery here, otherwise we will kill Ray's bandwidth pretty quick. If you do post img tags from the gallery, your post will be edited/deleted.

You can use www.0friction.com for bouldering, and maybe rockclimbing.com or some other image site for roped stuff. I can maybe host a small number of photos as well.

When this thread gets to big, we will start volume 2...

Who's the tan fella with the bod?

And why was Matt trying to yank you out of the crack, Wes? What an ass!

The last ones are of Purgatory, which is a killer little crag. Allah did a super job of trail building and route development. The routes are crazy hard and are much steeper then they look.

The huge swing and tree humping was kinda cool. Next time should get some shots of you all doing the swing.

Paul, that is drug pusher at Wall of Denail. Super hard and cool roof climbing, to crappy (and easy) climbing once you turn the lip. Worth jumping on if you are all the way out there though.

here is another picture from my trip to switzerland.

to see the rest you should check out my gallery:

this one is of dave warming up in chironico. something about the light, his focus and the lack of holds really makes me like this shot
