Beer in Estes Park & Long's Peak Beta

Post by andy_lemon » Fri Jul 08, 2005 12:08 am

Looking for a place to drink beer in Estes Park... suggestions?

Also looking for beta on Kierner's Route and Crack of Delight... if climbing Crack of Delight is it possible to link up with Kierner's Route via Broadway? I can't find a freakin topo of the diamond anywhere. Beta please?

There is (was? Been a while since I was there) a killer brewery in Estes Park, great beer and good food. One of the best beers I ever had was a 1/2 rasberry wheat, 1/2 stout from there. Good stuff.

I figure if we plan on hitting the trailhead at 3a.m. that gives us plenty of time to talk specifics at a killer bar in Estes... by the time we hit anything technical we should be sober again.

Just joking.

You never know what the weather may turn out to be, and you never know if we will have additional time to kill. Might as well get all the beta I need before we leave.

Finding a good place to drink beer in Estes park is the easiest thing you'll ever do. Finding your way out of the great beer drinking places may be somewhat harder. And yes you can join up with Kiener's from broadway. Just make certain you're clear on where it starts. Sorry, it's been so long since I've been there that I can't help with directions.
