line at gallery

Post by allah » Thu Jun 15, 2006 8:34 pm

There is a line about 15 to 20 feet to the right of Random Persicion, there are no bolts or anchors but there are definatly tick marks on it. I am wondering who has rapped down the line and if they were going to drill it.

Pretty sure Blake was looking at that. Not sure what his plans are though.

depends allah...I rapped one of the lines, and blake the other. the one closest to random precision I did. it is too hard for me, so go ahead and bolt it. the tick marks up high are mine. blake has put a bolt for a directional up high. talk to him to make sure what his plans are.

Allah,
Chris Martin has rapped that line. We looked at that thing for a good while one day wondering if all of the critical holds would stay put. He has looked it over pretty well though, so you may want to talk to him.

I don't think CM has plans to plug it. It looks great though. Those discrete pockets look killer. The bottom 15' or so might be an issue though from what I remember.

Allah,
I talked to Chris about that line yesterday. Be aware, he said there is a hold or 2 at mid-height or so that will probably blow and be the end of that route. Still might be worth checking though

The one I rapped is just left of the green offwidth left of Goldrush. When we were toproping the offwidth I placed some directionals and got right on top of the prospective route and continued all the way to the ground. I remember a flake about 2/3 height that I didn't think would stay on the wall that you would have to make a long move off of to some small holds. Other than that I think the rest of the route will go. I won't be bolting it so have at it.

This line has been bolted as of Sunday. About 25 feet right of Random Precision. Possibly even two routes on this wall now but I'm not sure how far he got.
