Hi - this has been circling on facebook. 69 people have shared it but only 8 have contributed :-(

For those of you that don't know your RRG history, John Bronaugh was instrumental in founding the RRGCC - and more importantly in negotiating the sale of the PMRP. Without his knowledge and help we very well may not have that land secured for climbing forever. Furthermore, when the oil company put gates on the land, John was one of the lawyers to take the case to court and win access to our land. Tragically, John died of a heart attack in 2004. Shortly thereafter, John's oldest son Alex was killed in a car accident. They were survived by Mrs. Tina Bronaugh and her youngest son Jesse.

John gave the climbing community his time, his professional effort, and his passion. He showed us how to take care of the land we now own by establishing annual trail days - which now bear his name. Let's show him the climbing community can help take care of the son he left behind. Please take a minute and contribute $5 or $10 towards Jesse's trip.
